A. Best piece of creative work, HSC Design and Technology Major Work, 2014
Previous to creating the fire pit, I had no skills in metal fabrication. It took many attempts at using a plasma cutter and welder on scrap pieces of metal before I was game enough to start on the sphere. Surprisingly, it only took about 4 full on hours to cut, but then I had the joyous task of using a die grinder and metal files to clean up the cuts. Overall, it would have taken me over 24 full on hours to tidy up the product. I never want to see a metal file again.

B. A great piece of Architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright's 'Falling Water', 1935
Something I find interesting about this piece of Architecture is that there is a waterfall running under and around the house. I also think its interesting that even though it looks very contemporary, it was created 80 years ago.

This is a photo I took Christmas eve last year, it a photo over looking my back yard. I come from a small town called Kew, 30 km south of Port Macquarie. An interesting fact about kew is that the local pub used to give out bumper stickers saying far kew...
